I'm trying to include as many comments and notes as possible and hope you find something to help you with your family tree.
Before 1837 births will be baptism dates. Due to high infant mortality, Baptisms generally took place very quickly after the childs birth. After 1837, some birth, marriage and death dates have been extracted from the Free BMD UK index.
If I've calculated the year I've tried to remember to click 'about'. If you see a question mark it's because I'm not sure, so please check for yourself or use the question mark as well if you're extracting details.
Many of the names and events are the result of endless hours of research pouring over parish registers, copyhold deeds, wills and overseer's accounts. I have also had invaluable help and information from other researchers, but mistakes can be made.
Never forget the Family Historian's first rule; 'Printed Proof is Best' before you add a name to your tree, but if you're too far away to see for yourself, check, cross check and if necessary check again.
Time prevents me entering every single name on my tree, especially for Gaines, Elderfields, Reeves, Vidlers and the Smiths of Australia, but don't be put off: many of my connecting lines via other family researchers, can be found on GenesReunited.
Good hunting!
